Cookies are small text files that are automatically placed onto your device by some websites that you visit. They are widely used to allow a website to function (for example to keep track of your basket) as well as to provide website operators with information on how a website is being used. We use cookies to keep track of any transactions with you as well as to identify how the Website is being used (navigated) and what improvements we can make. For example, changes to menus and navigation.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn how to modify the way it treats cookies.
If you turn cookies off, some features will be disabled that make your user experience more efficient and some features may not function properly.
I may use cookies to remember personal settings you have chosen at our website. In no other context do I use cookies to collect information that identifies you personally. Most of the cookies I set are automatically deleted from your computer when you leave our website or shortly afterwards.
I use anonymous session cookies (short-term cookies that disappear when you close your browser) to help you navigate the website and make the most of the features. If you log into the website, application or a course as a registered user, your session cookie will also contain your user ID so that we can check which services you are allowed to access.
This website uses tracking software to monitor its visitors to better understand how they use it. This software is provided by Google Analytics which uses cookies to track visitor usage. The software will save a cookie to your computer’s hard drive in order to track and monitor your engagement and usage of the website, but will not store, save or collect personal information.
Whilst using our website, software applications or services, you may be required to provide personal information (name, address, email, account details, etc.). We will use this information to administer our website, applications, client databases and marketing material. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as adopted into law of the United Kingdom in the Data Protection Act 2018. Further, by providing telephone, fax and email details, you consent to BLOOM’s contacting you using that method. You have the right at any time to request a copy of the personal information we hold on you. Should you wish to receive a copy of this, or would like to be removed from our database, please contact us at enquiries@bloomsat141.co.uk
BLOOM’s collects information in two possible ways:
a. When you directly give it to us (“Directly Provided Data”)
When you sign up for our site, purchase our products or communicate with us, you may choose to voluntarily give us certain information – for example, by filling in text boxes or completing registration forms. All this information requires a direct action by you at that time in order for us to receive it.
b. When you give us permission to obtain from other accounts (“User Authorised Data”)
Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for other online services, you may give us permission to obtain information from your account with those other services. For example, this can be via social media or by choosing to send us your location data when accessing our website from your smartphone.
How long do I keep your data for?
BLOOM’s will not retain your personal information longer than necessary. We will hold onto the information you provide either while your account is in existence, or as needed to be able to provide the Services to you, or (in the case of any contact you may have with us) for as long as is necessary to provide support-related reporting and trend analysis only.
If legally required or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our Terms and Conditions, we may also retain some of your information for a limited period of time as required, even after you have closed your account or it is no longer needed to provide the Services to you.
BLOOM’S will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information, gathered as a result of filling out the registration form, to anyone.
Choosing how we use your data

If you ask me, and where possible and lawful to do so, I will also tell you who I have shared your personal information with so that you can contact them directly.
Your right to erasure. You can ask me to delete or remove your personal information in some circumstances such as where I no longer need it, or you withdraw your consent (where applicable). If I’ve shared your personal information with others, I will let them know about the erasure where possible. Your right to restrict processing. You can ask me to ‘block’ or suppress the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances such as where you contest the accuracy of that personal information or object to us processing it. It won’t stop me from storing your personal information. I will tell you before I lift any restriction. If I’ve shared your personal information with others, I will let them know about the restriction where possible. If you ask me, and where possible and lawful to do so, I will also tell you who I’ve shared your personal information with so that you can contact them directly.
Your right to data portability. With effect from 25 May 2018, you have the right, in certain circumstances, to obtain personal information you’ve provided me with (in a structured, commonly used and machine read able format) and to reuse it elsewhere or ask me to transfer this to a third party of your choice.

I have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, I limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
I only collect information that I need to carry out my service. I need personal details from you in order to fulfil my obligations to you. This includes providing you with information about my organisation, and your interaction with us on events and other programmes and may also extend to understanding how best to support you in order to participate in one of our programmes.
We need to;
- To keep a record of payments made and our communications with you
- To fulfil contractual obligations entered into with you, for example, purchase of a course or event attendance.
The basis under which we process any data can be one of three ways.
Contract Basis. When you make a purchase from us you are entering into a contract with us. In order to perform this contract, we need to process and store your data. For example, we may need to contact you by email or telephone in the case of changes to an event, or in the case of problems with your payment. When you enrol in any of our programmes, you are deemed to have given your explicit consent to collection of the minimum requirement of personal data necessary to complete the enrolment.
Legitimate Interest. In certain situations, we collect and process your personal data for purposes that are in our legitimate organisational interests. However, we only do this if there is no overriding prejudice to you by using your personal information in this way.
Consent. For any situations where the two bases above are not appropriate, we will instead ask for your explicit consent before using your personal information in that specific situation.
If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy or want to exercise your rights, please contact me by sending an e-mail to enquiries@bloomsat141.co.uk or via the contact form below or get in touch by telephone on 07727 807088.
